Hi there, I'm Marshall Copous, a freelance colorist, photographer, and filmmaker based in Austin, Tx. I moved to Austin in 2010 to attend film school at UT and have loved living and working in this city ever since!
My interests as a photographer are wide-ranging from travel and nature to behind-the-scenes and street. However, I tend to most enjoy shooting with people. There are so many interesting and beautiful souls in the world, and I love capturing their unique personalities. Some of the clients I have collaborated with include Indeed, Goodwill, Scotty McCreery, SXSW, and The Wild Honey Pie.
Color grading is another passion of mine, as I continuously work to make each and every project visually stunning. I love collaborating with fellow filmmakers and commercial clients to help make their visions a reality. My experience includes feature films, documentaries, music videos, commercials, and narrative shorts. Past clients include Snapchat, Texas Monthly, NatGeo, and SeatGeek, as well as top artists such as Shakey Graves, Sweet Spirit, Missio, and Ghostland Observatory.
